The design and/or testing of tooling and equipment and/or planning the manufacturing processes in a designated area of the manufacturing plant. Oversee large and small projects from design to implementation, which will include working with outside build shops and GAE manufacturing engineers from design to completion. Work is of a technical Nature where decisions are made within the limits of general practices and procedures, but where supervision is available to handle unusual situations. Occasionally may assign work to small group of people.

Managed the Pilot team for Lansing Grand River plant, responsible for the launch of the the SRX vehicle, the launch of the new 2008 CTS vehicle, along with line re-rate plant of an assemble while maintaining a lean manufacturing enviroment. Responsible for an advanced crew working with engineering, plant personnel and outside suppliers.

Setup the maintenance department for a general assembly automotive plant in a greenfield plant. This included: determining the number of trades personnel in a lean manufacturing enviroment, setting up a preventative maintenance plan, launching a new greenfield plant, working with suppliers and engineering to install new equipment and running day to day operations of the maintenance department.
