Currently:I am Spark Academies IT consultant. It is a part time as needed basis. I manage all of the hardware security as well as provide insight into the most modern and cost effective means of keeping students safe. I control 82 endpoints and most work can be done remotely but we have implemented software extremely rapidly and had the machines ready to be taken home in advance being precautionary about what Civid may bring thus year. 08/30/20 (Former) : I am an IT Support Specialist at ProfitKey International. I handle SQL and Oracle client/server installations and upgrades. ProfitKey is an seeMES/ERP focused company, designing software to help manufacturers increase productivity with an end to end tracking process. I also handle general "IT" responsibilities for the company and development team such as setting up new employee devices with necessary software and managing domain users permissions. I am the company Salesforce Administrator, I manage employee roles and privileges and handle data imports to keep our various information streams synchronized. I worked directly on the Salesforce implementation, designing a user friendly framework with minimal objects that can be easily modified to adapt to changes in company needs. I am very passionate about techand I’m always trying to learn more modern and efficient ways to handle technical issues. Prior to this I was working at the Manchester Community College help desk. I was responsible for helping students with questions and technical problems. Teaching students to navigate Canvas, installing office 365 and of course password resets were among the most common tasks. I was also involved with the Advanced Manufacturing Department. I helped students use the 3-D printers, universal lasers and robots. I repaired and maintained the machines and ensured that the students worked safely. It was a wonderful learning experience for me and helped me get more comfortable with troubleshooting not only software issues but hardware issues as well.
