In 2000 I set up Castle Hill Candles, beginning my journey into the candle making industry and becoming one of the first scented candle manufacturers in Ireland. As a self confessed tinkerer, I've spent the years perfecting and expanding our product range to include wax melts, room diffusers, bath bombs and other fragranced products. In 2015 I rebranded Castle Hill Candles our new name, Scent From Ireland, was chosen to appeal to the growing tourism market in Ireland.With my experience in the industry, I wanted to help other companies to create their own unique product range. In 2016 I formed the company Bespoke Candles to run along side Scent From Ireland. We offer a bespoke product design and candle manufacturing service, guiding our customers through fragrance development and packaging design. Today, we manufacture for over 30 companies and produce fragranced corporate gifts from our County Down based factory. In 2020 I was awarded a Gold Level Innovation Award from the Department of the Economy. With many more products in the pipe line I plan to keep inventing and innovating!
