i started off working as a one girl office. I was doing it all. I learned how to do AAR Billing by my boss, Mr. Brooks, taking me out in the shop to see all the parts of a railroad. in 76 I started working out in the shop as an FRA inspector i soon earned how to write up wrecked tank cars and then price them out for repairs. In 1980, I was over Quality Control, Estimation and Billing and doing all the Sales work for Texana. i was over that when i left in 6/89.

Worked in training salesman about rail in all southern states. Worked with bringing in new accounts. I had worked with paint at Texana so as to be able to cost out quotes for painting rail cars. i used that knowledge to go after customers who i had worked with before. Carboline's sales for rail sky rocketed in that time frame. i worked with the customers and with all the shops making sure the shops could apply the paint correctly and safely and also save money for my customer.
