I am now semi-retired. I retired from the Federal Government back in May 2016. After a few months of doing nothing I became bored and went through the process of obtained my Security Guard License and joined the Commissionaires where I am now employed as a Dedicated Spare.In my pre-retirement life I started when I was 16 years of age. I joined the Royal Canadian Navy where I served for several years. Loved my time in the Forces but left the service after I got married and my first son was born. Family was more important to me than serving my country.I returned to school to get my High School diploma and a start in my finance training. I worked for several companies over the course of the next several years, during which time I worked as a Supervisor in Payroll and Accounts Payable, as well as in General Accounting and Internal Audit.I left private enterprise and joined the Federal Government where I worked for 20 plus years. I worked as a Service Delivery Agent, Rulings Coverage Officer and a Collections Officer while in the Government. I worked in the Busines Programs Sectio, Budgeting Unit, CPP/EI Rulings Unit GST/HST National Pool, Bankruptcy Unit and in Collections.
