My name is Patrick Laurel. I have been in the Graphic Design industry for more than 25 years. I have an Associate degree in Advertising Design (1995) and Associate degree in Television Production (2010, 4.0 GPA) from Brown College in Minneapolis, MN. In my career I have worked in varied media including print, electronic and video production.I worked at Visit Saint Paul for more than 11 years as the sole designer. Being the only graphics person allowed me to become a well-rounded designer. Instead of focusing on one aspect of the industry, I have been able to diversify my skills into web and video. Working in my position I have had the opportunity to continue to learn new techniques and continue to keep up with the current design/graphics software.In my time with Visit Saint Paul I have had the opportunity to be part of the process in bringing in and hosting some large scale events to Saint Paul. Some of these events include theWCHA Final Five 2001-2012, 2011 NCAA Frozen Four and College Fan Fest, 2011 VISA Championships, 2008 US figure Skating Championships and last but certainly not least, one of the 2008 political national conventions.In 2012 I relocated to the Valley Forge area of Pennsylvania. While in Pennsylvania, I fulfilled several contract positions and had also taken multiple freelance projects. I am available for freelance work on a project by project basis. I currently reside in Twain Harte, California in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills.
