Pat leverages his considerable experience in the area of environmental strategic planning and program delivery for his clients who include Staples and the American Hotel & Lodging Association. Before joining The Maher Group, Pat worked at Marriott International for 23 years where he led the Engineering and Facilities functions along with their environmental initiatives. Prior to joining The Maher Group, Pat had been leading the Corporate Environmental Leadership Strategies Team at Conservation International. He did his graduate work at the University of Pennsylvania and undergraduate work at Drexel University.

Previously, Pat was with Marriott International, Inc. for 23 years. He joined Marriott in 1986 as an Electrical Engineer in the Architecture and Construction department where he was responsible for designing 89 new hotels. In 1992, he transitioned to the role of Regional Director of Engineering for the Western Region. After two years in that role, Pat became Vice President of the Northeast Regional Office until his appointment to Senior Vice President of Engineering in 1999. He was responsible for the development and implementation of engineering standard operating procedures, training programs, regulatory compliance, environmental programs and facilities renovation for over 3,100 hotels worldwide.
