My role involves not only implementing cutting-edge AI solutions but also liaising with clients to ensure our Data Science offerings integrate seamlessly with the work of economists.Over the years, I have had the privilege of guiding teams through complex projects, from adapting machine learning methods for economic forecasting to modernizing data collection, storage and analysis infrastructure for the Bank of Canada’s Business Outlook Survey. My experience spans multiple domains, and my ability to communicate complex concepts to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences makes me an ideal Data Science Translator.My journey in economics began with a strong foundation in forecasting and macroeconomic modeling, where I coordinated the team producing international economic projections that informed monetary policy.
