Pat is a Managing Director with over fifteen years of tax experience in public accounting. He leads the Tax practice in Grant Thornton’s St. Louis office. Pat works with both publicly and closely-held companies - serving clients in the manufacturing, consumer and industrial products, and service industries. Pat is part of Grant Thornton’s Corporate Tax Solutions practice. In that role, he focuses on assisting his clients enhance and optimize their accounting for income taxes and navigating the US or worldwide direct tax issues faced by both domestic and multinational corporations. His experience includes review of Federal consolidated groups; working with multi-tiered partnerships and ownership groups; multi-state income and franchise tax returns; and review and consulting on accounting for income taxes and uncertain tax positions. Pat is a regional lead for both the Tax Accounting and Audit Quality and Tax Controls Advisory groups.
