• Architected, piloted, and deployed the transformation of Republic's in-cab mapping for residential waste and recycling routes. Providing our Supervisors and Drivers a digital tablet solution for what was previously a manually edited paper map.• Drives the design, Agile development, field deployment, and maintenance of the in-cab Android application Republic’s Drivers use every day. Allowing Drivers to be more efficient in their day, take ownership of their routes, and communicate more effectively with Logistics and their customers.• Manages the Product Owners of four different Scrum development teams, each with their own independent features and backlogs. All four teams are responsible for the development of different components of Digital Operations roadmap.• Coordinates R&D projects focused on adding efficiency to Republic’s in-cab application. As well as automating Driver interactions with the device allowing them to focus on safety and servicing customers.• Successfully coordinates product pilot efforts across the country with all levels of field leadership. Including R&D research projects, pre-deployment testing, user feedback & design planning.• Translates the future goals of corporate operations into features designed with input from our core users. Duties Included• Provided geospatial products and support to clients and brokers related to the spatial analysis of commercial real estate holdings. Examples include: demographic/census data; multivariate regression analysis; transportation/commute research; Nielsen PRIZM retail market segmentation; retail site development; and aerial photo interpretation. Also creates and edits GIS features and attribute data; maintains metadata; creates and maintains geo-databases; works with DEM data; prepares presentation materials and final output.• Performed daily quality assessments and quality control checks on personal projects, as well as final products produced by team members.• Managed the schedule and workflow of numerous coinciding projects with conflicting time frames. Deadlines range from two hours to two months based on importance and complexity. Personal communication and coordination with all team members and clients is pivotal to ensuring that duplicate work is not incurred.• Acted as liaison to brokers and customers on all matters related to geospatial products and capabilities. Often responsible for marketing new procedures, techniques, and the newest available data.• Researched new data from public and private resources.
