Job Summary Work directly with Director Family Centered Care to support and integrate PFCC into all aspects of our organization and coordinate opportunities for families to contribute to the mission, vision and values of Children’s Specialized Hospital. Assist the Director in the oversight of the PFCC programs and initiatives across the organization. Essential Job FunctionsProvide leadership and facilitate favorable outcomes to maximize the environment for staff and families in coordinating a state-of-the-art Patient and Family Centered Care program.Provide leadership in the development of best practices, programs and policies that support the integration of Family-Centered Care principles throughout our organization.Coordinate ways for families to provide input into organizational practices programs & policies.Assist with|coordinate Patient and Family-Centered Care programming.Assist with recruiting and interviewing candidates for FCC Program as well as with selection and placement.Orient, train and provide supervision to new staff.Monitor and ensure the achievement of FCC program goals to optimize and promote Patient-and Family Centered CareAssist with the overall functioning of our hospital-wide Family Advisory Council. plan and facilitate FAC workgroup meetingsOversee FCC in-service, training and development of staff. monitor that competencies are completedProvide education of families, staff and volunteers and the community on the principles and applications of Family-Centered CareFoster an environment to live our Service Excellence standards and resolve any customer’s concerns or complaintsIdentify patient and family issues, concerns & suggestion for improvements and determine possible courses of action that may improve service delivery systems Assist with identification and coordination of Performance Improvement projectsServe on designated committees with the purpose of providing a broad consumer perspective.
