With over 40 years of experience in the computer field, I have built a diverse skill set specializing in Systems Administration and Cybersecurity. As a proud veteran of both the United States Air Force and Army National Guard, I bring a disciplined and mission-focused approach to my work.I have worked extensively with Managed Service Providers (MSPs), conducting Security Risk Assessments and providing Systems Administration expertise. In my most recent role, I served as Information Security Manager, where I led the establishment of a comprehensive Cybersecurity Department from the ground up. This included overseeing critical audits such as SOC II Type II and Financial Audits, as well as implementing essential policies like Business Continuity Plans (BCP), Disaster Recovery, and Incident Response.Throughout my career, I have developed and launched multiple Security Awareness Programs, ensuring that both end users and organizations are well-protected. My expertise also includes performing vulnerability scans, monitoring, and staying aligned with NIST CSF and RMF frameworks.I am committed to continuous learning and growth, keeping pace with the evolving field of Cybersecurity through active participation in professional communities and self-study.
