Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President of Clinical Support and Quality Performance is a member of the Senior Management Team and assumes joint accountability for the attainment of the strategic objectives and operational plans of the organization. Responsible for the operation of Risk Management, Patient Safety, Accreditation, Privacy and Freedom of Information, Infection Control, Continuous Quality Improvement, Patient and Family Centered Care, Medical Library, Ethics, Research, Health Information Services, Diagnostic Services (Lab and Diagnostic Imaging), Pharmacy and the Sterile Processing Department.

Reporting to the Vice President of Primary Care, responsible for the operations of the Primary Health Care Department, Nurse Practitioners, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab Programs, Diabetes Education Centre, Telehealth, the Primary Health Care Facilitator and the Chronic Disease Management Facilitator with an annual budget of $2.5 M. Responsible for the administration, implementation, planning, directing, development and evaluation of regional Primary Health Care sites.

Instructed fourth year nursing Partnerships with Community class. Course content included community development, population health promotion, primary health care, rural health, social marketing, research, ethics, program planning and program evaluation.

Reporting to the Vice President of Primary and Community Care, responsible for the operations of Public Health Nursing and the Teen Wellness Centre. Accountable for directing the administration, planning, professional and team development, reporting and evaluation of regional Public Health Nursing.

Reporting to the Manager of Public Health Nursing supervised all aspects of the operations of Public Health Nursing, Mother’s Support Program, Health Aide Program and Women’s Wellness Centre for what was then known as the Prince Albert Health District.
