The majority of my remit within the Investment Journey team is to project manage various initiatives in line with business priorities. These are regulatory, client experience and revenue focused. These projects are often complex, driven to tight deadlines and require the co-ordination of numerous departments and many people.

Leadership of 7 teams, 30 staff. The Operations teams are responsible fro account opening, corporate actions, order capture and execution, client reporting, tax and settlements. Also responsible for a team of 5 relationship managers directly responsible for client engagement. Responsibility for BAU delivery and associated SLAs, staff development, recruitment, process enhancements, project management and quarterly service reviews.

Business lead for Barclays Stockbrokers change agenda, delivering on cost reduction and client experience related projects. Responsibility for managing budget of £10m and headcount of 50 staff. Maintained relationships with 20 Ops partners and 14 third party vendors to ensure the consistent delivery of services for Stockbrokers client base within agreed SLAs. Responsible for prioritisation of workload for the business, incorporating BAU activity, exceptional volume events (Barclays rights issue, Royal Mail IPO, Vodafone return of capital) and ongoing change agenda.

Responsibility for all client experience metrics within the Service Centre for Barclays Stockbrokers. Leadership responsibility for 150 staff, 13 direct reports as well as maintaining relationships with business heads and Ops counterparts as well as Finance, HR, Risk and Compliance partners. Ownership of the service delivery strategy and its execution. Lead on project to develop focus on client experience.
