With over three decades in leadership, management and financial services, I have strived to do my best for my clients and colleagues. I am an inveterate networker and connector of people. My experience to date has taught me the concept of service and nurtured within me a lifelong fasination with leadership. I know what drives the heartbeat of a business and what motivates people. The orchestra to success is the level of personal learning, preparation, training, relationship building and trust. There are many outcomes you have no control over that will form you, but it is your intent that matters not your expectations. My objective is to never sell myself short, stay balanced, and be a pillar of resilience in times when customers need assurance. Since 2013 I have worked in the SME financial broker sector specialising in advising during times of change. When someone is faced with redundancy, divorce, a career/life change, retirement and estate planning, it helps that I am able to observe , assess and support people in making change happen in the smoothest way possible. Being armed with the right tools and information to reach the correct decisions for clients is a very important part of what I offer. It is not necessary to have the full view before you commence working with a customer. Find the orientation of where you and the customer wants to go, give leadership, follow the direction and when obstacles occur move around them and get back on course. High performance is essential when dealing with people and their finances.The key attribute I have learned is that success is measured by forming beneficial and long standing business relationships, where, clients feel comfortable and secure about what is being discussed to reach a decision. It is all about listening, reacting accordingly and matching client requirements with a appropriate advice.I strive for excellence and I am able to pick up new skills and adapt to ever-changing situations quickly and easily. My purposefulness, resilience, engagement and empowerment keeps me at it day after day, I can turn my hand to pretty much anything that is thrown at me even when I am at the brink.I am a member of the Life Insurance Association of Ireland and I actively participate in the annual CPD programmes which I find both educational and practical.
