As Senior ICQA, I’m responsible for providing support for all ICQA in the nine Liquidity Services Retail Supply Chain Group Warehouses. This includes working with our Company's auditors, providing necessary reporting and documentation to ensure our continued SOX Compliance. It's also my responsibility to maintain the Inventory 'health' of my home warehouse in North Carolina. By conducting daily and weekly audits, along with weekly cycle counts I strive to maintain a high level of accuracy within our approximately 415,000 sq. ft. warehouse. My regular duties include Inventory Defects Reporting, Customer Dispute Analyses and daily Problem Solving for the warehouse and its Associates. I also monitor our supply levels, submitting requisitions to our central purchasing office as needed. As a member of the warehouse’s Safety Team, I’m involved with and conduct Safety Training for our Associates, e.g., OSHA Compliance, PIT, MSDS, PPE; maintaining the necessary documentation. In the absence of a Warehouse Manager, I've have stepped up and filled that role, as well.

As an Analyst, I provide my clients with the thorough analyses of key areas of Supply Chain and Product Performance necessary for success as Vendors for Lowe’s Home Improvement. This includes monitoring Inventory Levels, Safety Stock, and Service Levels, tracking Non-Productive Inventory along with Purchase Order Performance and Item Fill rates to help clients identify and resolve order discrepancies. My duties also include observing the relationship between Inventory Levels and Sales Levels to determine if the forecast is on par with demand and identify problems that would negatively affect the Service Level and In-Stock %. I also assist clients’ productivity by turning the raw data, from Lowe’s Vendor DART reporting system, into helpful, easy to understand reports with the metrics they need to maximize their performance. Also, upon request, I can create reports to help clients to prepare for special inventories, meetings and Line Reviews along with the normal Monthly and Year-to-Date Reporting they receive.

I have gone through Honda Sales Specialist Certification, and computer training for the ADP system used by the dealership. Along with interacting with customers to determine their needs/wants in a new vehicle, part of my job was to pre-qualify buyers to help determine their potential ‘buying strength’ to help eliminate the disappointment of having fallen in love with a vehicle they cannot ultimately purchase. Customer satisfaction results in referrals and repeat business. Additionally, I was responsible for the design of the dealership’s print advertising. This included newspaper and magazine ads. I was also given the responsibility of maintaining the company’s Facebook page which successfully generated more interest and “foot traffic” at the dealership. When Glen Raven acquired John Boyle & Co., Inc., I was promoted to Junior Buyer and retained many of my Inventory Control duties. As Junior Buyer, I maintained relationships with suppliers, purchasing necessary items using the already negotiated terms and pricing put in place by our Buyer. Once promoted to Buyer, I was responsible for purchasing all items for the plant, ranging from the office supplies, to the raw components for the manufacturing process (textile yarns, chemicals, packaging, etc.) and obtaining MSDS information, when applicable. I also monitored the Inventory levels of the proprietary DoD components used for the Company's government contracts, re-ordering when necessary. By working closely with the Operations Manager and the Scheduler, and using the MRP System, I maintained the flow of materials to support our production schedule. My responsibilities included locating additional/back-up suppliers, and negotiating pricing. I also managed equipment leases, arranged for lab equipment calibrations, and coordinated contracted equipment maintenance schedules. Another part of my duties was to determine the NAFTA qualifications for our product lines. This involved acquiring Certificates of Origin for all raw materials purchased for production, and preparing the necessary documentation for export to Canada and Mexico according to Federal Regulations. Along with on-site trainers, the company provided advanced computer training for me at Mitchell Community College in Statesville. I was also sent to specific training for NAFTA. Prior to the decision to eliminate the company’s front reception area, during the receptionist’s lunch hour, I assumed those duties, as well. The plant closed in July 2010.

As an Inventory Control Specialist for a major textile manufacturing plant, I was responsible for managing the inventory for four separate warehouse locations. This included raw materials and finished goods. I supervised teams and conducted monthly cycle counts to maintain accuracy. I was also responsible for generating and presenting reports to the various department heads discussing variances and making recommendations for improvements. Another duty I performed was the daily entry of data for the individual machine efficiency reports that I created on a weekly and monthly basis. I also coordinated teams and conducted year-end inventories, working closely with contracted auditors. In addition, I was trained as the back-up payroll person. In 2008, John Boyle & Co. became part of Glen Raven Technical Fabrics.

It was my responsibility to train and supervise the registration operators, to interact with the dealers, and to ensure the proper movements of the dealers’ sale vehicles on the property. During the 9 years of my employment, I was fortunate to be a part of the major growth and expansion of Statesville Auto Auction. I have title experience, having worked for a time for the GMAC Department. During that time I played an integral part in implementing the bar coding and photography of vehicles for online sales. For a time, I also assisted in the sale lane inspection for Chrysler Financial vehicles to ensure they were ready to cross the block. I assigned numbers, registered vehicles, trained operators, made sure Dealers’ requests for Recon or Maintenance were completed, did regular lot checks to make sure vehicles were on their numbers, worked specialty sales (e.g., motorcycle, RV), and many, many other duties. Most important, I was good at working with the Dealers. I had their trust and respect. I believe that Customer Satisfaction is necessary and can sometimes be a challenge to achieve. Sometimes you have to go that ‘extra mile’.
