Pat’s career experiences are a reflection of her passions for listening to, learning from and building with external partners and internal teams. Working with various provincial, federal and aboriginal government agencies on public/private project initiatives and in a number of labour and non-profit environments has broadened her analytical, program management, process improvement, collaboration and partnership development skills. Pat is never afraid to ask questions and enhance her understanding before rushing forward. Pat is a decisive leader and seasoned executive whose career has focused on growing people, organizations and communities, launching products and initiatives, and finding actionable strategies that respond to change. She also brings an ability to identify talent, mentor and stretch others so that they can achieve their own goals.Pat Campbell joined Supply Chain Canada (formerly the Supply Chain Management Association) as Vice President, Strategic Initiatives in June 2018. Her expertise in bringing together people with diverse perspectives to tackle challenges has led to the creation of sound, strategic solutions. One example of Pat’s collaborative work is publication of the Competencies of Canadian Supply Chain Professionals, a comprehensive guide that maps what is needed to achieve end-to-end success in supply chain. For the first time in Canada, 120 global leaders shared their insights on the many intricate competencies necessary to address pandemics, climate change, technological advances and geo-political struggles facing the supply chain ecosystem of today and the future. Previously, Pat served as Executive Director at both the Canadian Supply Chain and Automotive Manufacturing Sector Councils. Her work on the Community Wellness program initiated while Director of Corporate Affairs, Casino Rama is another example of her willingness to learn. Pat will always be grateful from the teachings shared by an Ojibway elder, Mi'kmaq colleague and many members of the Haudenosaunee confederacy, Giving to her community—through volunteer work with Muskoka Women's Advisory Group, Green Haven Shelter for Women, South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, the Royal Canadian Legion and Midwives of Muskoka—Pat demonstrates the same values of building trust and enhancing capacity that are reflected in her work life.
