Sworn in September 7, 2018, as Parker County Judge, I have been privileged to work with an outstanding staff and Commissioners Court in establishing a vision for both the current and long-term goals of Parker County while dealing with the growth ahead.Prior to my current position, I have over 25 years of experience in the private sector with Fortune 50 companies including Procter & Gamble, Gillette, and Berkshire Hathaway which are all leaders in their industry. This experience has enabled me to bring a performance-based initiative for better efficiency of county operations and taxpayer savings.I also have the privilege of over 18 years of experience in city government with the last 12 years being the Mayor and Chief Executive Officer of the City of Hudson Oaks, Texas. With a focus in managing growth and economic development, the City of Hudson Oaks is one of the few cities in the State of Texas with no city tax and ranks #3 in sales tax per capita.Currently serving on local organizations with the three local Chambers of Commerce in Parker County, Aledo Rotary Club, Regional Transportation Council, Tarrant Regional Transportation Coalition, 911 Board, Juvenile Board, Local Government Collaborative and previous experience with United Way Board of Directors serving as Chair with multiple campaigns including the Weatherford Little League, Springtown Optimist Club and American Red Cross.It is my intent to prepare Parker County for the growth ahead as the #6 fastest growing county in the nation with infrastructure and all county needs to achieve this goal.
