I currently design significant portions of Cellares' first product, the Cell Shuttle, and manage a small team of engineers and technicians. I have previously designed full- and semi-automated manufacturing equipment of all kinds and scales, from table-top fixtures to 2-story, 100+ axis behemoth machines. Here are a few of my typical responsibilities:♦ Hardcore mechanical and mechatronic design: Extensive experience designing industrial servo motion systems, end-of-arm tools on industrial robots, material conveyance & automated handling systems, and architecting automated work cells and manufacturing lines.♦ Rapid communication cycles - I have typically worked without much up-front specification detail, so I have built the specification myself by frequently sharing ideas, concepts, and progress, soliciting feedback and gathering requirements from many stakeholders.♦ Full Stack execution: Concepting, architecture, detailing, drawing, purchasing, receiving, kitting, documentation, assembly, debugging, process development, project management. Not afraid to wear several hats and change roles when needed; I get my hands dirty and I make things happen, regardless of what the task is.♦ Mentor both directly as a manager of a small team and indirectly by creating instructional content shared across the company via internal wiki/Confluence pages.♦ Administer Solidworks CAD and PDM ProfessionalThanks for visiting!
