Current* Subsurface analysis of assigned areas for the purposes of independent analysis and verification of WCD submittals, Field Studies and Reviews, ZZZ sand placement, New Producible Leases, and establishment of field limits. Independent analyses are done using a variety of data types and software packages. The data that are used for the analyses include such things as: documentation submitted by operators, seismic data, analog data, well logs, existing in-house materials such as Field Studies, G & G Look back studies, CID's and various other forms of available information from multiple sources within BOEM.Many assignments culminate with a final presentation to co-workers and/or management as necessary. Size, length and audience all depend on the nature and status of the assignment.* As new geologic information is available, such as new completions, sands or field assignments, the new data is then added to the TIMS, NCIS, and OAP databases, as appropriate, to advance and maintain informational integrity. Should errors be identified during the database entry process, those are either addressed and corrected immediately, or reported as an issue to be corrected by TDMS.All new documentation is both created and stored digitally for field studies, reviews and determinations according to guidelines set forth by the Reserves Section.* Participation in special teams or projects. Special projects can range from a geologic project within the unit, to something that effects the entire GOM BOEM office.
