Hi,I am Apurva Patel and as a Master's student in Electrical Engineering at Columbia University, I'm deeply passionate about the intersection of Machine Learning, AI, and real-world applications. With a strong foundation in Applied Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Big Data Analytics, I’ve had the privilege of working on projects that push the boundaries of what technology can achieve.At Columbia, I’m not just focused on coursework—I’m actively applying my knowledge. As a Graduate Research Assistant, I developed a custom deep learning architecture that significantly improves real-time vehicle control systems, all while reducing data size by 32% through innovative data distillation techniques. My time at Nokia Bell Labs was equally rewarding, where I worked on 6G networks, creating an advanced MLP-Mixer-based Autoencoder that exceeded industry benchmarks with a 50% reduction in parameters.My academic journey began at Vellore Institute of Technology, where I was a Dean’s List scholar and ranked 4th out of 155 students.
