The aim of this project is to develop a device that keeps track of the medication intake time and medication adherence of a patient. The device is developed for adherence study of HIV patients.Project being done in collaboration with St. Johns Research Institute, Bangalore and University of California, San Francisco. This is funded by NIH, US Department of Health.As a software engineer, I was responsible for creating the database for the data collection, developing the software for real time remote monitoring of all the devices and technical support.I also helped in manufacturing and assembly of the devices.

Creations labs is a student driven space aimed at encouraging students to build, design, collaborate and innovate on projects and events to enable them to think out of the box, be creative and bring out the best in themselves.As a researcher at the Creation Labs, I got to interact with some of the most innovative minds at VIT. Undertaking several interdisciplinary projects, I learnt about all the aspect of a project, from brainstorming, to development, to marketing.As a manager, I got a chance of working directly under the guidance of the Vice Chancellor, from selecting new projects and members for to lab to organizing events and managing the finance of the lab.Some of my major accomplishments include:- Organised #WeHack'15 - an Internet of Things Hackathon with over 500 participants.- Organised Prototype'14, a Hackathon in collaboration with Honeywell.- Organised Makeathon'14, a Hackathon in collaboration with IEEE VIT Student Chapter.- Represented India in the second CAMTech-MUST Medtech Hackathon at Mbarara, Uganda.

I have taken up different website development projects for student chapters, events, NGOs and startups. I play the role of manager, font-end developer and back-end developer in most of these projects. As a manager I manage the workflow and set the timeline for the process from design to development to launch and updates. I have closely worked with many designers, front end developers, back end developers and clients during these projects. As a developer I generally work with HTML, CSS, SASS, JS, jQuery, CakePHP etc.
