Lead Dow's Digital Manufacturing Acceleration (DMA) Program which is an integral part of the overall Digital Dow Strategy. Develop the vision and lead the global team to operationalize the Digital Capabilities in the Manufacturing domain by creating and implementing the integrated Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) roadmap of robust and resilient toolset for enterprise wide scaling with commitments to improve safety, reliability, productivity and profitability. Also lead the End-to-End Business Process Re-engineering with focus on Manufacturing.

Responsible for consistent delivery across Implementation, Business Readiness and Data Readiness teams for all large, cross-functional Business Process and I.T. integration projects as well as regional projects that are under the direction of the regional Implementation Teams in Latin America, EMEAI, Asia Pacific and North America.

Dow has formed a cross functional organization that consists of I.T. and all the key Business Process functions. I am responsible for leading the CoE organization that sets common project management processes to drive consistent application of project methodologies, provide test automation services (including end-to-end testing and defect management), implement global end-to-end processes for production environment management, drive initiatives to achieve business process efficiencies and executing business process and IT benchmarking. CoE supports following Business Processes (functions) : Manufacturing, Order-To-Cash, Supply Demand Planning, Procure-To-Pay, Market Sell, Environment Health & Safety, Information Systems and Finance by providing expert knowledge of processes for strategic and centrally managed tools such as SAP Solution Manager and HP ALM.

Sadara will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the Sadara complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever build in a single phase. Sadara will establish world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products for emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

Lead Architect for the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) based MaintenanceNEXT Solution that fully integrates with PM, MM, FI, CO modules on the SAP ECC 6.0/Netweaver Platform. Accountable for overall technical application architecture for the solution to fulfill Dow’s Business Architecture requirements for the Global Maintenance Work Process. Manage delivery of the solution from Dow, SAP and Accenture resources based in US, Europe, China and India. Key components of this solution includes full integration of SAP with Primavera (Heavy Scheduling), Prometheus, Meridium (Reliability Analytics), ContentPlus (MRO Material Master) and several Dow developed plant floor applications such as Operator Logbook and Master Task List.This solution is implemented globally. External Engagement: Represent Dow in the Chemical Industry SAP Users Group’s (CISUG) manufacturing discipline and interact with Enterprise Architects and specialists from leading Chemical companies to influence SAP’s future technology roadmap.

IT Client Relationship Manager and Manufacturing IT Site Manager:Provide program management for local and common system projects (SAP, Delphi Global Desktop, Maintenance and Plant Floor MES Systems), optimize IT investments and serve as the escalation point for all the Manufacturing Site-specific applications and infrastructure related IT problem resolution for 1000+ employees at Saginaw Chassis, Grand Rapids and Coopersville Powertrain Manufacturing Plants with revenues exceeding one billion US Dollars. Manage vendor SLAs. Report to the Manufacturing Director and Plant Managers of the respective plants and Divisional Delphi IT-Business Leadership. Managed deployment of the common manufacturing systems in Oshawa-Canada, Saltillo-Mexico and Shanghai-China. Developed and implemented global support model.IT Deal Manager - Mergers Acquistions and Divestitures:Provide IT project management for the Delphi Chassis Divestiture to TRW and Powertrain Coopersville Wind-Down and Rochester Ramp-up projects. Led IT Due-Diligence for Saginaw Chassis diverstiture, interacted with TRW leadership and M&A Business Deal Manager and Legal Counsels.

Managed matrixed Manufacturing Plant Floor Systems Application Development and Technical Delivery Organization. Also managed the local data center and Operations/ Server Hosting environment. Additional responsibilities included People Care Leadership of the resources supporting Client’s manufacturing plant floor (multiple accounts) and the Engineering Reliability Validation test lab business. Successful renewal of the all the existing contracts during my assignment as a manager. Conduct employee performance reviews following performance management calibration system, execute compensation plan, perform client billing and manage client relationships.

Following projects were developed in a team environment consisting of highly technical Manufacturing Plant Floor Automation group at EDS:• Architected a solution to automatically generate the electronic move orders at the machining operations using GEFanuc’s Cimplicity to interface with Plant Floor PLCs and SAP to automatically backflush and relieve inventory upon shipping.• Architected, designed and developed a Supply Chain Freight Monitoring solution using Windows CE mobile application.• Developed Manufacturing Execution Systems solution by designing technical infrastructure for the plant floor devices to communicate with the GE Fanuc Cimplicity software. Developed a true web based portal/user interface that communicates with devices such as PLCs, Robots, Marquees and Torque guns.• Designed, developed and implemented Windows based Error proofing system (STABLE) to interface with Modicon PLCs and serial devices such as barcode scanners, printers and RF scanners to collect the real-time data from the assembly lines. Developed the interface between STABLE system’s Oracle database and SAP R3 Label Management’s Crossworlds interface.• Configured General Motors common system Electronic Pull System to communicate with Modicon PLCs to collect the material pull signal via pendant push buttons from the assembly lines to route the components from the bulk storage to the lines.• As part of the Process Controls Engineering team at Lansing Car Assembly plant, modified and maintained General Motors Common system Respace based on UNIX server and Allen Bradley PLC interface to resequence cars from the paint shop into the trim shop.• Designed, developed and implemented an Oracle back-end client server based prototype part tracking system. Developed Purchase order, Inventory, Shipping, Receiving and Parts List modules.
