Lead analytical method development and validation to support new product development and commercialization

Manage Entech accounts in Mid-west region, selling analytical systems and air sampling solutions in a variety of industries, including: environmental, emergency response, food & flavor, diagnostic research and consumer products. Clients include private, public and education sectors. Provide end-to-end service including quotations, technical and literary support, product issue resolution, delivery and pre/post-installation support.

• Establish bio-analytical methods for analyte extraction from plasma and tissues using protein precipitation (PPT) and solid phase extraction (SPE) techniques. • Identify and characterize degradants of an innovative drug (Afrezza®) in support of an NDA filing using a variety of analytical techniques.• Establish mechanism of interaction between a proprietary carrier molecule with various peptides and proteins by evaluating parameters such as pH, electrostatic interactions, hydrophobic interactions, and the size and structure of the adsorbing molecule.• Conduct presentation of data and findings to fellow scientists and senior management, and provide technical guidance to other associates.• Assist in writing proposals for new and upcoming projects, compile data, write and review technical reports and memos for internal review and due diligence. • Ownership of all analytical laboratory instruments, including but not limited to maintenance and trouble shooting.

•Perform raw material and finished product analyses of various nutritional and cosmetic products using IR, UV, AA and wet chemistry.

• Perform quality control analyses of in-process and finished products of over 200 different pharmaceutical and nutritional drugs as per USP and in-house test methods. • Perform method verification and dissolution profile on drugs. • Train chemists in quality control analysis and the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). • Perform analysis of new products and controlled drugs with no supervision. • Validate and troubleshoot instruments and methods.
