DARRTS is implemented to support the Investigational New Drugs (INDs) review process, implemented to support the rest of the INDs managed by CDER, and to incorporate Master Files (MFs) and Emergency Use Applications (EUAs). DARRTS implemented new application types, New Drug Applications (NDAs) and Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDAs) and additional application types, Biologic License Application (BLA) and Marketing and Advertising General Tracking Record (MAGTR).
