A dedicated postdoctoral researcher currently working in the HEVA Lab at MilanoBicocca University under the guidance of Dr. Emanuele Azzoni. My research focuses onleveraging organ-on-a-chip technology to analyse the dynamic adaptation ofmicrovasculature to biomechanical signals in the microenvironment.During my Ph.D. at Sapienza University, Rome, I developed a strong background inmolecular medicine, with a particular focus on the role of microRNAs in T-cell AcuteLymphoblastic Leukemia (T-ALL). My research, conducted under the mentorship ofProfessors Maria Pia Felli and Isabella Screpanti, explored the regulation of CXCR4-dependent thymocyte maturation by Notch3, shedding light on the critical intrathymiclymphostromal interactions and Notch signaling mechanisms driving leukemic cellproliferation and apoptosis.Throughout my academic journey, I have cultivated expertise in molecular biologytechniques, experimental design, and data interpretation. I am deeply committed to applyingthese skills to address complex biological challenges, whether in the context of cancerresearch or emerging technologies like organ-on-a-chip. With a passion for translationalresearch, I am motivated to contribute to innovative projects that bridge fundamental sciencewith real-world applications. The intricate network of signaling pathways that I have explored in cancer research has provided me with valuable skills in molecular analysis, data interpretation, and experimental design. These skills can be seamlessly applied to study various other metabolism and pathway, particularly in investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying the disease and exploring novel therapeutic approaches. My dedication to research and my ability to adapt and apply my knowledge make me well-suited to tackle the challenges posed by research.
