- Developed a custom kinetic model for the bioethanol fermentation process using ACM (Aspen Custom Modeler) and embedded in Aspen Plus for the comparative study of the conventional and Drystill's downstream processing technology.- Built a reliable thermodynamic model for the process simulations by performing the regression analysis on the experimental VLE data using Aspen Plus Physical Properties.- Investigated the benefits of Drystill's bioethanol downstream process using the Aspen Plus model and conducted a simulation study of the process for the conceptual design phase.- Participated in developing the Process flow diagrams and P&ID diagrams of the Process.- Prepared PowerPoint Presentations of the research outcomes and presented to CTO and management.- Conducted the CFD study of the SAM (Stripper Absorption Module) using Solidworks Flow simulations for the optimization.

- Partnered with Mississauga based Drystill Holdings, Inc. on process designing and optimization project for separation of Ethanol from Fermentation broth using a novel Pass-through Distillation technology.- Investigated effects of the various operating parameters on output variables of the process using the Design of Experiments(DOE).

- Communicated and cooperated with the supplier to test a new hydro-cyclone water purification system to ensure the performance of the system.- Tracked, recorded and prepared management reports detailing process capability and trend analyses of critical parameters (Paint Usage, cycle time) of the process for the new models. - Verified and calibrated paint process and application equipment as directed in the total productive maintenance(TPM) plan to ensure the accuracy and repeatability of the painting process.
