About Pat Evans, Pmp, Itil® 4, Csm, Cgfm, Icp, Mba, Ms

I am an experienced PMP who delights in helping clients with their information technology needs. My expertise includes enterprise-wide functional project management, leading teams, managing client relationships, and helping clients deliver financial management applications. For example, in one of my last PM roles, I assisted a federal agency in delivering a full software and hardware upgrade for a $14M/year project on time and under budget. As the project was being tracked by Congress, the team and I met all milestones, with my earning a Service Excellence Award from IBM and the agency winning industry recognition.I have led a variety of transformation activities across the government for which I developed key stakeholder relationships at all staff/management levels, including a large-scale enterprise engineering transformation ERP project. My career with IBM, PwC, and BearingPoint (now Deloitte) include a solid background in the corporate world of IT, business management, and consulting. I began my consulting career as a software developer with IBM on the NASA Space Shuttle project. As U.S. Presidential appointee, served a two-year term on bipartisan President's Information Technology Advisory Committee (PITAC). This PITAC committee provided the President with an independent assessment of progress implementing the Networking and IT Research and Development (NITRD) Program and helped to determine whether the R&D undertaken is helping to maintain U.S. leadership in IT.In 2011, former Governor Robert F. McDonnell appointed me to a five-year term on the Board of the Library of Virginia.I co-chair the Sponsorship Committee for Northern Virginia Chapter Association of Government Accountants and volunteer in several organizations, including tutoring STEM.Specialties:Project Management,ERP Implementation,Business Development,Systems Implementation, Financial Management, Client Relations, Process Improvement,I can be reached at pevansrecn@yahoo.com
