Coding a variety of inpatient, outpatient and dental claims. I examine international invoices and medical records to appropriately apply ICD 10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers and revenues codes. Due to a consistent quality score of 99% and maintaining the highest production averaging 70 international claims per day within the team, I was promoted to assist the supervisor in many task including SIU Examiner which involves investigating claims for any potential fraud, waste and abuse (FWA) within 6 months of employment. I have also been promoted to handle high dollar claims over $10K where I audit claims processed from other coders. I review their claims for coding accuracy and sit with them on a daily basis and provide helpful feedback to help them improve their coding. With my guidance and feedback the overall quality of the coders has increased from an average of 96% to 99%
