Supply Chain ManagerReporting to James Lambert, Program Manager, GermanyResponsibilities and AchievementsOverall responsibility for the procurement and logistics functions in support of Noble Supply andLogistics Djibouti business unit including daily customer facing, planning and distribution as well as remotely stationed.• Daily contact with the customer base at Camp Lemonier Djibouti for all of their purchasingrequirements for both the DLA MRO and GSA contracts• Overall management and control of the purchasing and logistics operations for the unitsbased across East Africa (Djibouti, Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan…)• Coordinating the strategic sourcing and management of new vendors across the Middle East, Europeand the USA• Performances as the liaison for local government agencies to include custom clearance,freight forwarding, exoneration and other authorizations.• Prepares and reviews shipping documents required for each purchase order, to include AirWay Bill/Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and any additional forms needed.• Coordinates with vendors and accounts payable to set up terms and conditions.• Manages vendor relations in order to further the business and secure the best sourcingsolutions for our customers.• Maintains daily communication with customers and vendors globally, ensuring all partiesare continuously updated on order and delivery statuses.• Utilizes NetSuite ERP, Excel, and Google Sheets on a daily basis for management of alltracking and ordering.• Frequently uses DHL and FedEx tools for shipment preparation.• Tracks and manages required deliver dates (RDDs) for all equipment across East Africa
