En Masse Technologies develops, sells, and installs custom ICT solutions including hardware, structured cabling, and printing solutions for their clients – completed an integrated SHEQ audit of the ICT processes and provided comprehensive report detailing non-conformities, an action plan and guidelines for the company to implement in their quality management system.IV. ECOCHEM Pumps supplies dosing equipment pumps and chemical expertise in the petro- chemical mining and food processing industries – developed and published safety data sheets for the hazardous and water treatment chemicals according to the Globally Harmonised System of Classification and labelling of Chemicals.

The company’s main manufacturing facility, located in Gauteng, is a major hazardous installation and a national key point. The additional facility in KZN and depots in Bloemfontein and Western Cape supplies all major municipalities in South Africa.• Joined the Operation’s Team in September 2006 as the Quality Systems Manager, promoted to the head of the Business Quality, Safety and Health function within the Technical Department in 2012. • Led the QA, QC and Analytical Teams. Developed and successfully implemented the business quality strategy in all the production units by implementing and certifying the QMS across all the functions and sites to ensure adherence to ISO/SANS 9001, ISO/SANS 17020, NSF 60, legal and specific customer requirements.• Designed and implemented the Health and Safety Management systems for the business. for all the production facilities according to the requirements of OHSAS 18001 and OHS Act and associated Regulations. The Management systems was successfully certified by a 3rd part accreditation body in 2013.• In 2015 my role was restructured to include a broader portfolio of Operational Risk Management as the SHERQ Business Systems Manager. Developed and implemented an integrated SHERQ Strategy for the business to leverage the common elements of the Safety, Health, Quality, Environmental, Operational Risk management Process Safety systems to improve the effectiveness of the management systems by developing common practices, processes and understanding across the organisation.

Beacon Sweets and Chocolates is the snack and treats division of the group producing an extensive range of sweets, chocolates and ready-to-eat snacks.• Held the roles of Quality Systems Manager, Quality Systems Deployment Manager and Technical, Quality & Food Safety Consultant • Led the design and implementation of systems for promoting and enhancing Food Safety, Quality, Analytical and Supplier Quality Assurance for the four production facilities at Beacon Sweets and Chocolates.• In 2002 the Quality Assurance function was restructured into the centralised Quality Assurance function to support the 52 manufacturing facilities. I was promoted into this team in July 2002 and led the QS Deployment Team that developed and coordinated the implementation of designed quality and food safety systems requirements at these facilities.• In 2004 and the QS function was decentralised and I was appointed to manage the Quality Assurance function for the KwaZulu Natal-Snacks and Treats division. I monitored the effective implementation of the food safety management systems by conducting audits at suppliers and the manufacturing facilities, developing, and implementing training programs, investigating, and providing feedback to customers to address complaints and ensuring effective correctives actions were identified and implemented to address non-conformities identified.
