A multi-disciplinary educational development strategist and copy editor. After a long career as a musician, I developed extensive skills in education and editing, but music is still where my obsessions lie. When I am not working in the education space, I am performing all over Europe with various free jazz and improvisation-based ensembles as a trombonist.My writing remains mostly personal at this point, but my editing work is fairly extensive, mostly revolving around geography, history, and social science. I have copyedited several non-fiction books, two screenplays, a PhD thesis, numerous academic articles, and multiple history books for several clients.With more than 10 years of experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring, and supervising at all levels of education, I bring an broad set of skills to the educational environment. I am confident working with new college students, advanced undergraduates, as well as graduate students. I am also a skilled advisor in the college selection process. Along the way, I have amassed an up-to-date comprehension of solid practices in program management and faculty development.
