As an Audit Associate at Ernst & Young, Sri Lanka, I have gained 1.6 years of valuable experience in conducting external audits primarily within the manufacturing and hotel sectors. My role at EY, one of the world’s leading professional services firms, has equipped me with a strong foundation in assurance and compliance, as well as exposure to diverse industries.I am currently pursuing the Corporate Level qualification at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and have successfully completed my AAT, for which I am awaiting membership as an MAAT. My academic background includes a G.C.E. Advanced Level in Economics, Business Studies, Accounting, and General English, which has honed my analytical and financial skills.In addition to my professional qualifications, I have completed courses in English and Computer Applications, further enhancing my communication and technical abilities. My personal skills include creativity, problem-solving, leadership, and proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.I am also committed to personal development, having served as a member of the Senior Prefect Board and a cadet in the Army Cadet Platoon during my time at Teldeniya National School.
