CurrentLead the contract and grant process, including: creating complete and accurate contract and grant agreements, purchase orders and related fee and expense line items, performing quality assurance checks; facilitating the review, approval and execution of final contract and grant documents by authorized Pew and vendor signers; properly archiving documents; ensuring Pew’s information systems contain complete and accurate vendor, procurement, contracting and chart field coding information; sending contracts to designated vendors and program staff; and properly archiving the executed contract package.Negotiate specific legal terms and conditions and draft custom provisions as needed.Lead the budget negotiation process by collaborating with buyers to establish a negotiation strategy, which may include determining the best venue for the negotiation (virtual or in-person) providing market pricing information and pricing for comparable existing vendors. Unless otherwise decided, lead the negotiation with the vendor. Ensures agreement budgets are reasonable and fit within Pew guidelines. Thoroughly document how the final budgets are derived.Ensure deliverables and statements of works comply with Pew policies,Responsible for processing complex, high priority, or rush agreements.Provide high quality strategic advice and support to Pew staff (requestors/buyers) with the purchase requisition process,Lead meetings with program teams to facilitate conversations about renewals, amendments, no-cost extensions, RFX opportunities and to strategize on new agreements, and the engagement of diverse providers.Provide ad hoc trainings on contract procurement best practices, process and procedures to buyers/requestors as needed.Act as the primary CAPS liaison to multiple program teams and ensure contract needs are met.Develops and fosters relationships across Pew to promote cooperation and collaboration with internal partners.
