As a copywriting intern at Ludwig+ I had the opportunity to work on a variety of fun projects. It was a fast paced environment where I switched seamlessly between several different voices and styles depending on the client. Executionals included magazine ads, website copy, blog posts, digital, and social copy. I worked on ideation of bigger campaigns, examining briefs and concepting aspects from the big idea to execution and extensions. I also worked on some event planning and strategy research.

SexPo is a sexual health and wellness fair I founded as a student activity coordinator at College for Creative Studies. Entering its third year, SexPo is a day long event centered around education and inclusivity. As a lead coordinator I seek out organizations to participate, educators to lead workshops, and performers to close the day of activities. My responsibilities include email correspondence, marketing, and delegating tasks to my team of organizers.

Acknowledging the protest of Thanksgiving by the United American Indians of New England, the installation included a video on the history of the protest and its connections with modern protests of oil pipelines. The alter honored multiple indigenous people and their contributions to society. Students were able to take away pictures, poems, and historical information.Seafood Palace of Arts and Amusements VisitI planned a visit by shuttle for students to a local art center where students could see the work of and network with working artists in a variety of fields.SexPoOver the course of three months I worked with our wellness services coordinator to plan an event educating our student body on sexual health and consent. I secured multiple local non-profits to provide information such as Planned Parenthood, Hollarback Detroit, and Michigan Clinic Escorts. I scheduled several workshops such as a burlesque class, consent practices, and a diverse panel of experts to answer student questions. We put together gift baskets and educational materials.

As a copywriter at Quicken Loans I assisted with external and internal communications across a variety of platforms. External campaigns include our gold winning About Us campaign, College Football sponsorship, Community Investment Initiatives, the Translator 2.0 campaign, Republican and Democratic Conventions, QL National, and the Super Bowl. Internal campaigns include the Team Member Referral Program and QLMS. Some of my responsibilities included:-script writing for television and radio-campaign ideation and pitching-landing page copy-print ideation and copy-social content and accompanying copy I was active with Quicken's Diversity and Inclusion programs, taking initiative to attend conferences and host workshops within my team.

As a bartender I have built a varied skill set. I can set the correct tone for a crowd, whether its enabling a quiet and peaceful early morning break or shaking up shy folks at happy hour. I have learned how to bring people together or to keep them apart, and when to do which. Years of fast paced, high volume work have taught me how to keep my cool under pressure, evaluate priorities in a constantly changing environment, and to excel at multitasking. I can balance a drawer, do inventory, and and troubleshoot a pool table. In addition to bartending I do landscaping in the summer keeping up our flower boxes and large yard. I am responsible for planning and maintaining the beds, coordinating lawn care, and hiring and managing additional staff as needed.

The National Lawyers Guild is a progressive association of legal workers and activists providing aid and training to the community. The Michigan Annual National Lawyers Guild Dinner is their largest fundraiser event of the year. As the copywriter it was my responsibility to write promotional materials, invitations, and programs, working alongside an art director to see them to execution. I conducted and organize interviews of the honorees for the annual journal to produce the finished product, a glossy magazine that serves to inform and raise funds through advertising.
