In the end, we released a new checkout and post-order experience while increasing orders being placed by 15%, decreasing canceled orders by 25%, and decreasing customer support tickets. At Blizzard as a senior full-stack engineer on the Identity Team, I lead a major effort to audit and redesign our applications to meet WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards. These applications reach over 27 million active users and used in over 100+ games and products that are critical to to the business. I built a new reusable UI template using Javascript, SCSS, and Vue.js as well as improved error, form, and authentication handling on our Java and Spring Framework backend.
