Metaprint is primair een producent van bussen voor spuitbussen. Daarnaast wordt er staal bedrukt voor klanten in de metaalverpakkingsindustrie.In de positie van Managing Director ben ik eindverantwoordelijk voor Operations, Finance en de sales voor drukwerkklanten in Nederland. In het eerste anderhalf jaar lag de focus op de bouw van de drukkerij- en lakkerij-afdeling en de installatie van een 8 kleuren offset druklijn en een laklijn met oven. Daarnaast hebben we in 2021 een tweede bussen-assemblagelijn geïnstalleerd.Eind 2021 hebben we de kwaliteitsmanagementsystemen ISO 9001 en 14001 geïmplementeerd. In 2023 zijn wij het kwaliteitssysteem aan het uitbreiden, teneinde te voldoen aan FSSC 22000, zodat we ook kunnen leveren aan de voedingsmiddelenindustrie.Inzake Finance ben ik eindverantwoordelijk voor de jaarrekening en de contacten met de accountants en de bank.In 2023 heb ik een standaard kostprijsmodel opgezet.

I was the CFO/COO for the European plants of Summit Packaging Systems Inc in the Netherlands and Poland. I was responsible for Finance, Operations and Sales. The following production departments are part of Operations: Stamping, Injection Molding, Tube Extrusion and Assembly.In my CFO role I was responsible for the preparation of the consolidated annual report bases on IFRS. Besides this, I was the main contact person for our auditors, lawyers, tax office and banks.In order to reduce the forex exposure of the European operation, I created a natural hedge. In my COO role I was responsible for:I have restructured the Dutch management as the management of the Dutch plant was not working as a team. Together with the Dutch management, I have changed the ‘good enough culture’ into ‘Best Manufacturing Practice’ by implementing ‘Continuous Improvement’ and ‘Lean’ principles. After this restructure was executed, an immediate effect on the performance of the European operation was visible. The sales volume increased by 30% and the operating profit is 7 times higher currently. For the development of the new actuators in Europe, I was responsible for the execution of these projects in regard to the molds, the design and production of the assembly machines.For both plants in Europe we have implemented the BRC standard in our quality management system.I was responsible for various expansions of our plant in the Netherlands as well as expansions of the machinery in the Netherlands and Poland.Automation of the material handling of the finished products by installing robots in the packaging and palletizing process.

I was responsible for the preparation of the consolidated annual report bases on IFRS. Adams Management Services, which is a small company active in the financial advisory. The client base were family owned companies for which we offered advice in business strategy, tax and legal as well as wealth management. After 2 years, I became partner in the company. I was responsible for the daily management of the advisors and I was involved in the more complicated advices to clients.The areas I was working in: tax and legal advice, estate planning, M&A, employee benefit plans and audit.

The clients I served were mainly Dutch subsidiaries of international clients from the UK, US and Japan. In the last 3 years, I was audit supervisor, and, in that role, I managed audit teams and reported to managers and partners.
