I am passionate about design thinking and design theory.Paraphrasing two quotes that resonate with me:"nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect" - Richard R Powell"risk averse = reward challenged" - Morgan SpurlockHoned in the crucible of small and large scale IT projects I have been helping design and deliver services which I hope have been rewarding and satisfying to those using 'em.I make a concentrated effort to coach and mentor others to create an atmosphere where everyone can pitch in: to find, to identify and to deliver on opportunities that bring value to a client. I am naturally drawn to the big picture and making sure all the cogs in the machine work together, however in my role as an Architect I learnt to switch gears from big picture to micro detail at a moments notice - breadth and depth - the T-shaped person.I really like problem-solving, and more than that, I like helping people tackle the 'right' problems. I think a lot of people can solve problems, but only a few can describe or define them to begin with. I like to think I'm of the few.I love white boards, sketching ideas and scrapping together diagrams or pictures.I believe a process should exist to add value or achieve an outcome.
