After 40 years as the Western Region Managing Partner of Wilson Elser, I have joined ADR Services Inc, in Los Angeles as a Mediator and Arbitrator of complex cases. I have been a litigator my entire career and have been elected to membership of the American Board of Trial Advocates and as a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. I have also served as president of the State Bar of California, president of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and president of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society.My practice focuses on mediating and arbitrating high-stakes personal injury, premises liability, professional liability and commercial cases. It more broadly encompasses insurance bad faith, insurance coverage, product liability, premises liability, employment litigation, ski resort liability, railroad liability and the full spectrum of class action matters. I have delivered more than 125 lectures and authored 80 articles on these and related topics. I am also an original co-author of the California Insurance Litigation Guide, the most-cited treatise on insurance coverage in California.As a mediator and arbitrator I bring this experience to bear in listening to the needs of the parties and resolving disputes economically and expeditiously.
