Responsible for the development of the freshmen class at Illinois Institute of Technology. Instruction includes ethics and the Law of Armed Conflict. Position requires counseling, lecture, lesson planning, and interaction with several local and national education organizations.2007-2008. Squadron Legal Officer. Responsible for the legal needs of 400 officers and sailors in the United States and overseas. The position required close coordination with high ranking military officers, military legal services, and local law enforcement agencies.2006-2007. Medical Evacuation Pilot. Led 50+ rescue missions over a 7 month deployment. Area of operation included Iraq, Kuwait, and the Persian Gulf. 2005-2006. Search and Rescue Pilot. Responsible for 30 maintenance personnel and the proper maintenance of 2 helicopters during an 8 month deployment around the world. Activities included pirate interdiction, search and rescue, humanitarian aid, international war exercises, and logistical support of a battle fleet.
