When my husband and I made the decision to move to Charlotte over seven years ago, we had three days to "read" the area, and decide where we wanted to live. We found that the internet, while extremely helpful, was no substitute for local knowledge. Many newcomers have that same "three days to decide" challenge. As a residential REALTOR(R), I help clients meet that challenge well-equipped. Many folks moving here from other areas don't realize what a huge geographic footprint our metro area occupies. They'll send me requests to see homes from Kannapolis to Rock Hill (well over 50 miles apart), without taking into consideration travel time to their new job or the airport. I listen to priorities, but ask questions that help me save my clients' time by customizing a search based on their needs, their wants and my local expertise.
