Born and raised in Chicago, Patrick has always loved films and his love for cinema grew as he discovered the teachings behind filmmaking. During his high school years, he was given the pleasure of taking a production class in which he learned about digital video editing. The class provided iMovie and Final Cut Pro programs to practice on. After graduating high school, he attended Tribeca Flashpoint Academy in downtown Chicago, IL. While attending, he learned all aspects of filmmaking for digital video including directing, producing, cinematography, and screenwriting. He graduated with a degree within the Film/Broadcast program with a focus in editing. In 2015, Patrick moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue his editing career within the film industry. On his spare time he likes learning new post production programs, going to the movies, reading various screenplays, and working on side film projects with his friends.Post Experience:Patrick's editing experience includes working a great amount of projects like short films, a 48-hour project, music videos, promotional videos, and independent features. He even edit personal short films for festival submissions and also for his Youtube channel. Patrick's has worked with FCP7, FCPX, AVID, Adobe CC Pr Offline/Online video editing, color correction (Apple Color and Resolve LTE), logging data, media duplications/backups, transcoding, compressing, on edit sound adjustments, independent distribution (digital or DVD copies) and overlay VFX via After Effects. Patrick is also an experienced assistant editor in which he provides stellar media organization, quick editorial tasks, keen detail orientation, and additional editing support when needed. At the last company he worked for, he was promoted from assistant editor to junior editor. He edited original interviews, promotional/social media content, and spec trailers for investor meetings.
