• Conduct participant’s interviews either in person or by telephone.• Facilitate informed consent for study participants, by explaining the study and answering questions.• Perform data collection which involves sensitive information, data entry and data edits.• Coordinate different sub-studies.• Recruit and enroll participants in sub-studies.• Coordinate travel arrangements and mail lab reports.• Work on retention activities such as maintaining contact with participant throughout the year. • Schedule research clinics in coordination with other research team members.• Manage zoom meets for sub-studies coordinated.• Prepare participant charts.• Meet with participants and counsel them on result and findings.• Schedule participants for follow-up visits.• Recruit participants for qualifying studies.• Enter participant’s information in the Gemini System.• Provide training to other medical staff members on sub-studies.• Manage programs for participants (Toys for Tots, Christmas party).• Draw participant’s blood.• Take participants vital signs.• Send participants specimens to the lab for real-time labs and research.• Train and new staff members.• Promote new studies and Sub-studies.

• Provide excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette.• Ensure patient confidentiality. • Order and restock supplies.• Perform phlebotomy in an outpatient setting• Navigate through various laboratory software to include Beacon, Allscripts, and Touch.• Perform drug screen collections• Manually label specimens.• Knowledge of different laboratory tests.• Identify patients with patient identifiers.• Knowledge of the correct order of draw.• Aliquot specimen as needed.• Place specimen in proper storage containers.• Prepare specimen for pickup by laboratory courier.• Train new staff members.
