Home Office: Manages four client-centered, USAID funded international development project valued at 164 million USD combined. Oversees all project component including financial, administrative, accounting, human resources management/recruitment, and contract management functions. Collaborates with field teams on planning activities, completing deliverables including workplans and quarterly/annual reports, and drafting scopes of work for technical consultancies. Provides financial management on projects, including monitoring burn rates and ensuring budget pipelines are accurate and up to date. Actively supports DAI’s Global New Business efforts through reconnaissance trip; proposal early engagement strategies, branding of DAI to client through communication materials, and proposal writing contribution.On the field: Supervised all operational, administrative and financial functions of the $85 million USAID project. Managed the following units and processes: Logistics, including inventory, administrative units, vehicle park, and IT; Finance/accounting; Procurement, Grants and Subcontracts; & Human Resources. Oversaw the closedown of the project ensuring items including high-value items are disposed to beneficiaries, that all cost incurred are allowable and billable, that all documents are signed and properly stored. Supported technical grants process, including providing supervision and close out of ongoing, complex grants, and coordinate HO consultation as needed to ensure compliant mechanism are used to accomplish and close out the grants’ technical activities

Lead the preparation, writing and editing of periodic reports on project’s impact and analyses as required by the contract (final report, annual reports, quarterly reports, monthly newsletters ad success stories). Worked closely with the Monitoring and Evaluation team to provide oversight on indicator outputs and ensured these outputs are fed and published to donor and external audience. Organized, managed and hosted multiple high-level inaugural ceremonies with high-ranking officials including, USAID Administrator, USAID mission director, and the President of Haiti. Drafted remarks for high-level officials including USAID mission director, and US ambassador. Designed an oversee the final production of promotional communication materials such as short video clips, brochures, post signs, while ensuring these materials abide by USAID’s branding and marking policies. Supervised two professionals, including one senior communications coordinator.

Nairobi, Kenya

Ethiopia: interviewed 50 single mother farmers to quantitatively and qualitatively evaluate the impact of urban agriculture on their livelihoods. Summarized the findings into presentable charts, statistical and narrative data for top-level briefings and presentations. Wrote convincing reports of policy relevance to the management officials and to the Ethiopian Government concerning the impact of urban agriculture project on single mothers’ livelihood.Kenya: wrote a 40‐page report about the achievements and shortcomings of the vegetable project to the Chief of Party, under a strict deadline, as requested by such as USAID, the Government of the Netherlands and the Irish Embassy. Conducted qualitative and quantitative research, interviewing 60 different stakeholders in the vegetable value chain in a four-week period to monitor the donor’s implementation of 2 SCALE’s public-­‐private partnership (PPPs) economic development project. Analyzed and presented the findings to the management using narrative, graphs, charts and other forms of data presentation. Contributed to the acquisition of $100,000 funding from the Irish Embassy, through my presentation of the project’s impact on the lives of farmers, that will benefit more than 15,000 rural farmers, including 40 percent women farmers
