Hello, I am Patrice.As a long-time employee and certified electrical engineer, as well as the responsible electrical specialist for the signaling and safety technology of the critical railway infrastructure in the Port of Hamburg, I ensure the safety and optimal functionality of our systems.**Activity in the Field of Railway Communication Systems Maintenance**My primary responsibilities include the inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of railway communication systems to ensure their safe and reliable operation.**Systems Overview:**- **HABIS and Operational Control Systems**- **Communication Systems**- **Computer and Radio Control Centers**- **Outdoor Facilities**- **Power Supply Systems**- **Cybersecurity networking systems****Inspections and Examinations:**Regular inspections and documentation of defects in railway communication systems, including the networks of HABIS and operational control systems.**Maintenance and Repair:**Execution of repair work on safety-relevant systems during ongoing operations, written documentation, and feedback to supervisory authorities.**Troubleshooting:**Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting in railway communication systems, including HABIS and operational control systems as well as the HE network, even during on-call duty.**User Support:**Support for DB Network operating personnel and installation and configuration of operationally required software.**Construction Supervision:**Supervision of new constructions, modifications, and extensions of railway communication systems, coordination of specialized companies, and conducting acceptances and functional tests.**Responsible Electrical Specialist (VEFK):**Planning, projecting, and designing electrical systems, organizing and supervising work, training in electrical engineering, and overseeing electrical systems.**Required Qualifications and Skills:**A completed degree in engineering with a focus on electrical engineering or a comparable qualification, extensive expertise in signal technology and microprocessor-controlled systems, as well as knowledge of relevant regulations and laws. Composure and a safe working method even under high time pressure are essential.
