Ms. Marvel's practice includes the evaluation of complex claims, litigation support, accounting investigation and expert testimony. Marvel & Associates has evaluated claims for insurers including specie, political risk, aggregate excess liability claims, marine cargo and business interrruption. Experienced in litigation support, the firm has provided attorneys with litigation support services for international disputes including accounting investigation, document review and control, assistance in all phases of discovery, trial preparation and testimony.Ms. Marvel's background in auditing and due dillgence, first at Ernst & Young and then in Precious Metals at Bank of Boston, has given her a unique background in the precious metals and jewelry industries. She has first hand experience with the risk and reporting issues surrounding complex trading and financing arrangements, transportation and inventories of precious metals and diamonds from raw material to finished product.She was a CPA for over thirty years and was certified by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants ("AICPA") in financial forensics (CFF), is a member of the AICPA and a diplomate of the American College of Forensic Accountants. She has been winding down Marvel & Associates and is looking forward to less work and more fun.
