Patricia's vast experience with member organisations and understanding the meaningful role that stakeholder collaboration plays in running a successful NPO, contributes to her success as CEO of Polyco. Running the largest Plastics PRO in the country with over 650 members is a responsibilty that she takes very seriously. Supporting her team in managing members legislative compliance to the EPR scheme whilst also ensuring that Polyco is a thought leader with new innovative projects and programs being implemented. The experience as CEO of the Beer Association of SA (BASA) representing members, ABInbev, Heinekin and just under 200 craft brewers for just under 4 years was a solid foundation as to the world class standards expected by an NPO. Her vast legal, advocacy, regulatory experience having served as the Executive for Legal, Regulatory & Sustainability at the Consumer Goods Council of South Africa for over ten years has adequately prepared her as well for close collaboration and partnerships with government, industry bodies and regulatory agencies in order to represent the interests of the industry. She is also an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and a certified part-time commissioner of the CCMA. She was also a key role player in the establishment of the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) in South Africa and still plays an active role in this space as chairperson of the Society for Customer Care Professionals (SOCAP). Patricia is passionate about empowering woman for the betterment of our society and in her spare time she works with the Home of Hope for Girls, who provide support to girls rescued from Human Trafficking. Patricia is currently completing her MBA with Henley Business School, having already obtained a B Soc Science, LLB from Natal University and MAP from Wits Business School. She is an accredited Facilitator with the ETDP Seta as well as registered with the International Association of Facilitators.
