Office Manager 2011 – Present The 53,000 sq. ft. facility was a state-of-the-art UV glassware decorating plant and distribution center. The plant portion shut down in May of 2013 so the company could focus on its core product of producing "tap handles" and continue to grow its distribution center. My position as an administrative/office manager for this start-up venture was a wonderful opportunity for me. I am currently working on the distribution end and have acquired new skills in warehousing and logistics.Administrative/Office Manager:•Epicor ERP training in sales, financial, and material management.•Created and maintained a “new hire” welcome packet.•Managed growth from an initial two employees to more than 20 employees.•Implemented in-house forms for varying departments•Managed inventory and purchases of office and manufacturing supplies.•Assisted in staff recruiting efforts by posting positions, conducting phone screens, and in-person interviews.•Tracked employee PTOs, reviewed time sheets, made payroll adjustments and processed payroll through ADP payroll services. •Worked directly with staffing agency to secure temporary labor help for long and short-term projects. Building start-up responsibilities:•Assisted plant manager in start-up preparations and worked closely with fire inspector, contractors, leasing management, utility and telecommunication companies to prepare building for occupancy.•Fostered and maintained vendor relationships with primary glassware and manufacturing suppliers.Warehouse & logistics responsibilities:•Learned to operate forklift, pick/pack UPS ground and freight pallet orders, process shipments in Epicor.
