I've always had a big interest in the areas of Renewable Energies and Waste Management which led me to take a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering followed by my Master's degree in Renewable Energy Engineering, in which I'm currently in the last stage - developing my dissertation.I was part of the Erasmus+ program during one semester, in Opole, Poland which was a very enriching experience, at all levels. I had the oportunity to meet and learn with people from the most diverse places and contexts and I was lucky enough to have had the chance to travel a lot.I was a member of the Environmental Engineering Students' Unit in ISA for two years and a half and a member of Ecozoic - Associação de Jovens para o Ambiente e Direitos Humanos for one year. At the moment I'm one of the members of the organizing committee of the IX Encontro Nacional de Estudantes de Engenharia do Ambiente (IX Environmental Engineering Students’ National Meeting). My first professional experience was an internship as an Environamental Engineer in GNR - Guarda Nacional Republicana, National Republican Guard, in their Nature and Environment department, SEPNA - Serviço de Proteção da Natureza e Ambiente, where I developed an environmental legislation portefolio with the aim to help the Guard answer the requests and complaints from the population to where environmental transgressions may be concerned. I also checked and improved the procedures when it comes to simple sampling when the situation asks for it.I enrolled in Galp's Trainee Program, Generation Galp, in 2022, as part of the Health Safety Security Quality and Environment Department. My work as been more focused in the area of Safety, specifically in Leadership and Safety Culture, aiming to help Galp become the Safest Energy Company in the World.Still in the same Department, right now i'm part of the Environment area, where we focus on making Galp a leader in Environmental practices. Working closely with the operational areas, we search for strategies and look for projects and initiatives aimed at our three well-defined and integrated pillars:o Protecting biodiversityo Optimizing water management, o Operational excellence towards circularity.
