I am a proven program manager and real estate professional with nonprofit and government experience. As a creative problem-solver, I work collaboratively to achieve innovative solutions that result in an increase in the number of affordable homes. I have 10+ years of experience in first-time homebuyer programs, commercial acquisitions, housing development, and more. I have designed local housing programs and directed more than $20M in federal, state, and local housing grants (HOME, CDBG, CalHome, Project Homekey, Section 4, etc.). I identify and acquire assets and manage construction/rehabilitation projects to increase affordable housing stock. I develop efficiencies in annual asset monitoring and income qualification processes. I provide ongoing stewardship of a scattered site community land trust portfolio consisting of nearly 50 homes. I currently manage $8M in residential and commercial assets including oversight of operating budgets, lease negotiations, and tenant relations. During the COVID-19 public health crisis, I fundraised nearly $1M for Emergency Rent Assistance to support local economies. My work directly impacts the lives of hundreds of households with affordable housing solutions.
